The milled string guides inimise tension differences as the string exits the plate. This gives each string a nice milled curve to pass over as it exits the plate, thereby minimising string breaks. The benefit is you can play double bends with confidence and also save money, playing many more gigs per set. Customers report as many as 16 gigs played before changing strings.
